Privacy Policy

AppSnaps (“we”, “us”) provides a service at appsnaps.io that turns your raw app screenshots into store-ready App Store screenshot sets. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what happens to it.

• Account data — your email address and a hashed password (or your OAuth identity), managed through our authentication provider.
• Content you upload— the app screenshots you submit, your app’s name and description, and the screenshot sets we generate from them.
• Billing data — payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details; we keep your Stripe customer reference, plan, and a credit ledger.
• Technical data — session cookies, API tokens you create, request logs, and rate-limiting counters needed to run the service securely.

Solely to provide the service: generating your screenshot sets, managing your account and credits, processing payments, providing support, and preventing abuse. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

To generate your sets, the screenshots and app details you upload are processed by third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI and Google). They are sent for the sole purpose of analyzing your screens and rendering your slides — fulfilling your generation request — and not for building advertising profiles.

We share data only with the providers required to operate AppSnaps:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage
• Stripe — payment processing
• OpenAI and Google — AI analysis and image generation
• Vercel — hosting
• Upstash — rate limiting

We use essential cookies only — the session cookie that keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.

Your uploads and generated sets are kept while your account is active so you can re-download them. Deleting a project removes its screenshots and generations. Deleting your account removes your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to keep billing records.

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to its processing. You can exercise most of these directly from your dashboard; for anything else, contact us through the support options listed on appsnaps.io.

Data is encrypted in transit, access to production systems is restricted, and uploads are stored in per-user storage with row-level security. No system is perfectly secure, but we follow current industry practice.

AppSnaps is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and the date above. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
